Projects

Below are some projects to which I contribute/have contributed

Data Science for Social Good
As part of the Data Science for Social Good Fellowship Program at the University of Washington’s eScience Institute, I worked with a small, multidisciplinary team of fellows, eScience data scientists, and experts from the Global Disinformation Index to develop an automated, machine learning method to identify disinformation websites related to the coronavirus pandemic. During this 3-month fellowship, we built several neural network models which could accurately and effectively classify news articles as coronavirus disinformation or legitimate news.
