Data that I love

Below are some datasets that I use regularly

Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED)
The Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED) collects and disseminates disaggregated, spatially-referenced data on armed conflict events worldwide. These data are publicly available and contain information about the date and location of conflict events as well as the reported number of fatalities and involved parties among other details. These data are compiled from a variety of sources including news media and crowdsourcing (e.g., twitter).
IPUMS PMA Data
The IPUMS PMA data is a harmonized and publicly-available set of reproductive health and family planning data with longitudinal and cross-sectional samples from 11 countries in sub-Saharan Africa, India, and Southeast Asia.
Uppsala Conflict Data Program (UCDP)
The Uppsala Conflict Data Program (UCDP) data is another source of global conflict event and organized violence data that is disaggregated by time and location. These data are collected from news media and other sources such as reports from international and non-governmentmal organizations.
